Guys,
Just wondering what faults if any are happening after collection.
So far, after collecting my 1.6HDi 110hp I have had the following
1. Leaking washer bottle caused by a split pipe, fixed within 12 hours
2. Sticking throttle pedal (rubbing on the carpet to the right of the pedal) hopefully being fixed Tuesday.
Also, does anyone else think the 17inch wheels make the handling a little flighty and the turn in a bit slower? having done some club racing in the past, I reckon the 16inchers would improve the handling and give it more feel. Either that or softer tyres to give more grip.
FAULTS?????

havn't any problems yet, and hopefully it'll stay that way
as for handling its all relevant to what your used to, (we have a 2 seater with 17s and 700 kilo and it loves to tram-line), a road car will always be a compromise : ie steering light enough for driving everyday, slightly too light for the track, and yes the smaler wheels would aid handling, BUT hey the 17s look cool right ive also raced (stock cars, motorbikes, sidecars , superkarts) but with all the roads packed solid nowadays ill settle for a usable everyday car to all who have their cars enjoy to all who havn't not long now |

Found the following issue this weekend, reported word for word to Citroen, just awaiting their response!!!
When travelling on motorways and A Roads, overtaking is proving to be a dangerous pursuit due to a design flaw. Dropping down a gear or two in preparation to accelerate works fine however, due to the radical design of the car, any driver who is in the process of overtaking me is forced to slow down in order to look at the DS3 to try and determine ‘What the H**l is that’ and in doing so, prevents me from pulling out to overtake as I had planned. Also, I am wondering if I can claim from Citroen for working hours which I am having to use to explain to confused passers by what the car is! Can Citroen produce a badge for the back which says ‘It’s a bl**dy Citroen’ ??? |

when i recieved the car i had no luck connecting my phone to the bluetooth stereo. I looked at list of compatible phones on the citroen website and mine wasnt listed so i figured it wasnt compatible. I went to citroen 2 days ago to sort out a small issue with a door, mentioned the stereo issue and they said it should work cus my phone is new. They fixed the problem by simply reseting the software by disconnectin the battery and then hookin it back up. Works fine now. Very happy with the service, handsfree callin and steamin music from the phone to stereo are now two more reasons why i love this car!

When I picked my 1.6 petrol DS3 up a few months ago, the dealer had not taken on some of the protective stickers despite having washed it. Some of the trim was also raggedy. The window rattled in the passenger door; that solved itself when someone closed the door rather roughly, it knocked it into place. Recently started to hear a sloshing noise when I close either door; it is coming from the back. I like the car but wish the finish were better or more care taken at least.

I have had a few issues
The indicators under the wing mirrors got water in both of them and needed repalcing The spot light drivers side also got water in it and needed replacing The trim around the door exterior was lose and needed fixing All above put right to my entire satisfaction The next thing I have found is difficult to explain the black vinyl running up windscreen pillar has bubbled and split, very minor but I fear will get worse, Citreon have been as good as gold and are booking back in next week, I fear I will nead new vinyll trim A few issues nothing major but all bloody annoying Has anybody else sufferreda ny of the above |

I've noticed quite a few things that are finished very badly on this car but I want to just ignore them otherwise I'll drive myself mad. I pointed out to the dealer that the rear wheel arch covers don't fit into the arch properly and that being as they were of the material they are, they would get wet, sag and eventually rub against the wheel and rip off. He agreed it is rubbish and comlained to head office to see if they can bring out a mod to sort it out. The plastic clip at the bottom of the door windows - rubbish.
Anyway I love my car and just hope it lasts longer than my C4 |

I collected my D sport the day 10 plate came out within days i noticed my bluetooth did not work, reported this to the dealer it took them several days to find the fault a wire had not be conected . I then had to have the mechanism that opens and closes the window replaced as it was crunching when putting widow up. I then had a noise from the dash it had become loose and had to be stripped and sorted. it was recalled for software update . Now i keep getting a warning coming up that passenger seat belt or air bag faulty so in again but they cant find why this is happening. In all my DS3 has been in the garage since new over 10 days in 6 months no a happy boy but i do love the car
