The rear wheel arch coveres have started to sag on mine, its only just over 6 months old, 3000 miles. Im gonna go see citroen in the week, not happy with the fact you can see them below the line of the wheel arch, annoying!

The wheel arches sagging is a common and known fault

If you log onto another sire ds3club.co.uk under the technical section. Somebody has put all the common faults with the citroen bulletins that the dealers have

Mine is in the dealers at the moment having this sorted along with 6 other snags

Ive had my DS3 petrol for 6 months and not had any problems and everything seemed to be well put together.

However, last night on my way home my temperature gauge went though the roof and a big red STOP warning  . There was no obvious signs and the water wasnt even steaming up! AA was called out and he thinks its just electronics. So be warned!

Have to wait until Tuesday before I can even ring the garage, but glad its under warrenty!

Any one else had this problem?

Oh and the mechanic did mention a woman with a DS3 turbo with <3000 miles and the head had gone. Apparently she said she didnt race it.

Hi
Collected my D Style 1.6 hdi January 2011. The passenger door sill was bulging and the black plastic trim did not fit correctly. 5 months on and Citroen are still looking into how this bulge came about. There is no damage to the paintwork or trim and in the dealers own words "must have been damaged whilst being assembled on the production line prior to being sprayed.
I do love the car and i have had citroens for for over 16 years and never had any issues. Just wish someone would take responsibility and correct the fault. Apart from the above this car is excellent and no regrets getting one. :D

I purchased my DS3 in March 2011 and in june 2011 just three month's old i noticed there was a bulge on the n/s and o/s sills.I took the car back to the Citroen garage where i bought the car and they took photo's of the problem and in August the garage asked me to take the car in for repair the garage said the car must have been damaged on the production line prior to being painted until i proved via photo's showing the car was perfect after picking the car up from new
I asked how they were going to repair my new car to be told it's going to a Citroen approved garage and the car would be right with that i reluctantly took the car for repair
One week later i went to collect the car the garage had beat the bulges in and filled the sill and painted it very badly and left off the plastic sill trims This is a new car
The body shop has had three attempts to repair this car they have know covered the car in overspray including mirrors wheels body work glass and painted the rear quarters in the wrong shade of paint
I do not want this car back as they have put filler painted badly and covered the car in overspray
I can not believe that Citroen have tried to cover up a structural problem i feel they should have taken the car back and investigated why the problem had occurred and not try to sweep the problem under the carpet
Any body had a similar problem and has any body got any idea's on what i should do next
Thanks

Exploding rear window. Has anyone had this happen to them. Purchased May 11, 1000 mileage. After getting in to the car and shutting the door, the rear window exploded. Scary!

I've heard of this before, but not on a DS3. Usually happens due to cabin pressure increasing explosively. Most cars have ventilation channels somewhere in the cabin or boot. Is your car completely standard or have you done any modifications to it ?
